Blog Journal #10

 Hey Peers,

Today, I will write about surveys and how they can be beneficial to student teaching. First off, teachers need feedback to become better teachers. There is no such thing as a perfect teacher unless you're Robin Williams in dead poet society. I would use surveys to allow my students to give me feedback on how I can improve as a teacher. For grade matter, I would most likely teach social science so I'd survey my students on what areas or projects to study on. Maybe survey students on how their favorite period of history to focus on. Whatever it may be, surveys are very important to understand your students.

A topic I found very interesting after reviewing my classmates' blogs is relativity. When I say relativity, I mean how similar the students and I are to each other with how we feel about certain assignments or cultures. The students are just as anxious and excited about learning new teaching material for the future as I am and it is great to see. Also, I found that some students find blogging just as fun as I do like Susie who feels good to just write!

A technology-related skill I would like to learn is photoshop as it looks great to just be able to photoshop funny things together. I want to be able to photoshop Godzilla in the background of me or something to make pictures more entertaining when I have my own website for teaching. For me to learn photoshop, I'd either learn myself or hopefully, a photoshop class can open up for me in my next few years at FSU. Photoshop is a great tool that many use to this day to make pictures more entertaining and beautiful so it would be a great skill to learn.
